Taste Trails Rome Cooking holidays in Italy's aim is to immerse you into authentic Italian life. From the moment you arrive to your day of departure, you will experience ' La Dolce Vita '. This is not the make believe Italy of Tuscany but a genuine experience of the food, culture and quality of life that is Italy.
Simplicity is sophistication here, the village cafes with genuine world class espresso and cappuccino. The Aperitivo before dinner is savoured and the abundance of fine local family run restaurants is amazing , all serving simple Italian dishes. There are generally no menus, just whatever is in season and probably what the family are having that day themselves.

" Unbelievable break - delicious food in the most amazing location. Staying in Santo Pietro which is unique .... Mark is the best host you could want for and all the people we met were friendly, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable on their specific subjects. For a short break with a difference this is it .... away from the main tourist areas most of the time, you get a feel for the real Italy."

Mark, I've been talking about my Italian cooking holiday since I came home and a thank you to you for making it possible is long overdue. I'm very wary of boring people about holidays but I've been quizzed endlessly by everyone on this one and there has been real enthusiasm to examine the photographs !! Truly it was a fantastic holiday. So many holidays follow the format of showing you the public face of a country but you peeled off the layers to show the authentic Italy. I still cannot fathom why Sabina is not a major tourist destination but feel smug to know about it before the hoards - inevitably - descend. The whole program, the people involved and your own commitment to such astonishing level of personal service was amazing.
